You can find out more about someone by looking at the people around him. Alex loves his wife, his family, his friends, and his cats, and they all love him too (one can’t never be too sure about the cats, but they are still there); these people are his inspiration and his support. He has built strong relationships with each and every one of them –at home and at work-, and together they’ve done great things. Alex is a computer geek who likes doing business, traveling, trying new foods, skiing, and car-racing (off-line) with the people he admires.

As a self-described epicurean, jeffersonian, and citizen of the world, Alexander actively defends the environment, equal rights, and tolerance among humanity and their beliefs.

    Bio:

Alexander Torrenegra began his career in 1994 in Bogotá, Colombia, as the leader of Cyberprise, a full service IT Solutions Company that offered outsourcing packages to companies requiring network management to custom software applications. In 1994, Alexander started studying Automation Engineering at Universidad de la Salle, but after two years he left school to focus full time on his business.

In 1998, Alexander moved to Miami, FL, where he led the Web Development Team at Rentalo.com, back then the largest global directory of vacation rentals. Besides programming and designing most of the tools and features on the site, Alexander and his team developed a content management system for property owners to help them maintain the information of their properties. This interface was recognized as the easiest to use in the industry.

Working with Terra-Lycos, Alexander was responsible for the project management and technology advisory for all the technology-dependant projects of the Business Development and Marketing Departments.

In 2000, Alexander moved to New York City and founded Torrenegra Internet Solutions. He brought together a highly skilled group of professionals to conceive and develop state-of-the-art technological platforms. Later on he founded Torrenegra Ventures, which has invested in the development of extremely efficient business models like Voice123.com, Language123.com, and, most currently LetMeGo.com.

The experience gained over the course of several years working with top online companies, in combination with his leadership, charisma and his imaginative, yet pragmatic vision, has allowed Alexander and his teams to succeed and excel in several online markets by providing quality services and innovative technologies.
